从富冈渔港出发，寻找一趟属于海的旅程，绿岛、兰屿比起台湾本岛，生活更缓、也更松了一些。

踏上港口的那一刻，刚站稳的双脚似乎还随着浪潮摇晃着，咸咸海风吹散发丝，海平面闪耀着金色日光，岛上范围不大，把山和海都拉近眼前，彷佛伸手便可触及；放眼望去，经海底火山喷发熔岩冷凝而成的奇岩怪石随处可见，无不令人啧啧称奇。

心情不自觉地全然放松，连呼吸的频率都不同了。骑着车绕岛，处处皆是全台数一数二的诱人放空角落，就想什么也不做，好好感受所谓悠游的样子。或者，携带装备，潜入能见度深达50米的湛蓝大海；因强劲黑潮洋流经过，水温长年保持在 20 ℃，又多处设有生态保护区、全年禁止捕捉海洋生物，近距离观察珊瑚礁的丰富鱼群，是离岛旅行专属的幸福。

两座岛屿，各自拥有独特而迷人的人文故事。绿岛人的农耕渔猎，有着火烧岛独特的自然时序；兰屿更是存在深厚而悠远的达悟族文化，先祖们从自然万物里发展出的大智慧；咕咾屋、地下屋的建筑文化，简单而原始的传统饮食，说离岛人是依着自然而生的，一点也不为过。

小岛上的生活简朴自然，得以让身心灵获得纯净的疗愈，让全身浸泡在全球稀有的海底温泉里，静静欣赏一片漆黑的天色，逐渐从地平线透出亮光，时而粉红，时而桔红的霞光、火烧云，还有一颗缓缓升起的日出太阳，一切弥足珍贵。
